Guarantee & Refund Policy
Last Updated: [12/20/25]
Lazarus is a digital, calculation-based tool designed to assist users in resuming failed 3D prints. Because this tool provides instant access to functional logic and methodology, refunds are handled under specific, clearly defined conditions.
What We Guarantee
We guarantee that:
- Lazarus performs calculations as described
- The tool operates according to documented logic
- Correct inputs produce consistent, predictable outputs
- Documentation accurately reflects intended usage and limitations
We do not guarantee that every failed print can be safely resumed.
7-Day Refund Consideration Window
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of purchase.
Requests made after this period will not be considered.
Why Refunds Are Limited
Lazarus provides immediate access to:
- calculation logic
- procedural methodology
- recovery guidance
Once accessed, this value cannot be returned or revoked.
For this reason:
- refunds are not automatic
- refunds are evaluated case-by-case
- good-faith usage is required
Conditions for Refund Consideration
A refund may be considered only if all of the following are met:
- The request is made within the 7-day window
- The user demonstrates that Lazarus failed to operate as described
- The issue cannot be resolved through reasonable support interaction
Required for Evaluation
To verify a claim, users must provide:
- the relevant G-code or slicer output
- the slicer and firmware used
- a description of the failure or discrepancy
This information is used solely to validate functionality and diagnose compatibility.
Beta Testing Disclaimer (Important)
Some users may be granted access during beta testing phases.
By participating in beta testing, you acknowledge and agree that:
- the purpose of beta testing is to identify edge cases, firmware quirks, and slicer-specific behaviors
- certain printers or slicers may handle Z positioning or layer framing differently
- code updates may be required to support uncommon configurations
Refunds during beta testing are considered only after verification that:
- the provided slicer output does not produce correct results
- the issue is reproducible
- the behavior is not caused by modified, incomplete, or misrepresented input files
Beta participation does not guarantee immediate compatibility with all hardware or slicers.
When Refunds Will NOT Be Granted
Refunds will not be issued for:
- user measurement errors
- misunderstanding of firmware behavior
- failure to follow documented instructions
- cosmetic imperfections in resumed prints
- attempts to extract information without intent to use the tool
- refusal to provide necessary files for verification
Our Commitment
If Lazarus does not function as described after good-faith use and verification, we will work to resolve the issue or issue a refund when appropriate.
This policy exists to:
- protect the integrity of the tool
- prevent abuse
- allow continued development and support
