1. Purpose of the Service
Lazarus is an informational and calculation-based tool intended to assist users in determining potential resume points for failed 3D prints.
The Service:
- provides calculations
- provides guidance
- does not directly control hardware
- does not execute printer commands
- does not guarantee successful print recovery
All actions taken using information provided by Lazarus are performed solely at the user’s discretion and risk.
2. No Guarantee of Results
3D printing involves mechanical systems, firmware, materials, environmental factors, and user configuration choices that are inherently variable.
As such:
- Results may differ between printers, setups, and conditions
- Some failed prints cannot be safely resumed
- Cosmetic or structural defects may occur even when calculations are correct
Lazarus makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the success, safety, or outcome of any resumed print.
3. User Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for verifying measurements and inputs
- You are responsible for confirming firmware behavior before resuming
- You are responsible for supervising any resumed print
- You are responsible for stopping the printer immediately if unsafe behavior is observed
The Service does not replace user judgment, experience, or supervision.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Lazarus, its creators, operators, and contributors shall not be held liable for:
- damaged prints
- damaged nozzles
- damaged build surfaces
- lost filament
- lost time
- machine damage
- indirect or consequential losses
Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.
5. No Professional or Engineering Advice
The Service does not provide:
- engineering certification
- mechanical guarantees
- professional technical advice
All information is provided “as is” for educational and practical reference only.
6. Tool Limitations
You acknowledge that Lazarus:
- relies on user-supplied inputs
- assumes correct measurement and interpretation
- does not detect physical alignment issues
- cannot account for slicer quirks, firmware bugs, or hardware malfunctions
Incorrect inputs will produce incorrect outputs.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes
- misrepresent results as guarantees
- redistribute or resell the Service without authorization
- attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service
8. Changes to the Service
Lazarus may:
- be updated
- modified
- restricted
- or discontinued
at any time without notice.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Payments
Paid access to Lazarus is processed through Stripe.
By purchasing access, you agree that:
- prices are displayed prior to purchase
- access may be granted immediately upon successful payment
- refunds, if offered, are governed by the stated refund policy
- access may be revoked for abuse, fraud, or violation of terms
Lazarus does not store payment credentials and is not responsible for payment processor outages or errors.
