How It Works

Step 1

Reorient the printer to the real world coordinates*
(No worries, Lazarus makes this super easy, we have a 30 second compatibility test link at the bottom of this page and printer model specific instructions for your printer at the bottom of the app. ) First time can take a few minutes but once your are set up most modern printers can achieve this step with one click.

Step 2

Measure the the print height to the nearest 0.1mm. tolerance within + or – (layer height) is perfect
Upload the original G-code and enter layer height (slicer setting) + print height in the Lazarus app.

Step 3

Preview and download the Lazarus Resume G-code
This is not just chopping the G-code as some tutorials suggest . Lazarus grabs the information you need and avoids code that will cause collisions

Step 4

Upload the Lazarus Resume G-code into your printer
Make sure the nozzle and bed are already at the correct temp and select print.
That’s it! Lazarus has just paid for itself, its all green from here on, and that sense of satisfaction rather than frustration, the printer time saved, just icing on the cake, and after you get familiar this whole process can take less than a couple minutes.

**Helpful Tip: Use the same user interface that you used for the console commands for everything else during a resume as touch pads may try to slip in a G28 (Home all)or an auto bed level.
